8. Cardiovascular Disease

As part of your Medicare plan, you can also get a free annual visit to your doctor to help you reduce your risk for cardiovascular disease.

9. Lung Cancer Screening

If you are aged between 55 and 77 you are eligible for an annual lung cancer screening if you fit the following requirements: if you don’t have signs of lung cancer, are a smoker or have quit in the past 15 years, or have a tobacco smoking history where you smoked at least one pack a day for 30 or more years.

10. Depression Screening

Lastly, you can get access to a depression screening at your local doctor’s, once every year. Follow-ups and referrals will be available, but you may need to copay for follow-up treatment.
