Known as the Badger State, Wisconsin is popular for its cheese and beer. So if you love those two you will definitely love this state. Its biggest city is Milwaukee, an old industrial and beer brewing city. The state is considered to be calm and relatively safe, with the highest concentration of lakes of any state. Milwaukee offers excellent outdoor recreation, as the climate here, as in Massachusetts, is humid-continental.
