United offer discounts for veterans that are enrolled in Veterans Advantage, and active duty military workers and their dependents. With Veterans Advantage, veterans can get 5% off air travel fares. And active military personnel can check-in 5 free bags weighing 100 pounds each when traveling on orders, and three 70 pound bags when traveling not on orders. Also, active duty military can get free access to the United Club airport lounge when they have a military I.D and a boarding pass.
