4. Jet Blue

Veterans can use their Veterans Advantage membership at Jet Blue, and active duty military members and their dependents can get discounts too. Veterans are entitled to 5% discount on fares and can get two bags checked-in for free. Active military members traveling for leisure or other non-military purposes have access to a special military class fare that allows free checked bags. When traveling on orders, active military can check-in up to five bags per person, and at leisure, they can take two bags each, for free.

To make good of these discounts call 1-800-JETBLUE (532-2583) and tell the operator your Veteran Rewards card ID to get the 5% discount. To get the military class fair, active military personnel must call the same number and give details of their name, branch of service and military rank.
