Holiday Shopping Online: 6 Major Retailers That Offer FREE Shipping

Forget about crowded shopping centers, long queues and the stress of a holiday rush. This year, plan in advance and shop online. You’ll find so many opportunities to save! With the fast-approaching holiday shopping season, a number of major retailers released their free shipping offers. Go through this list and promise yourself “this year, I’m not leaving it for the last minute!”

1. Amazon for Orders Over $25

Even though 90 million Prime members are paying $99 a year ($10.99/month), some of us still consider it a “luxury”. Fortunately, you can still take advantage of their free shipping on orders over $25!

if you’re planning to do all your holiday shopping on Amazon, you’ll spend more than $25 anyway, right? So, check out their discounts (which are offered every day) and use free shipping to save even more. Any qualifying order will be delivered five to eight days after all items in your order to ship.

Of course, there’s also an option to sign up for the free Amazon Prime 30-day trial and enjoy free shipping with no minimum all month long!

2. Target

What makes Amazon Prime so convenient, is the fact that you get free shipping without a set minimum amount (plus, you get items delivered in two days!). These features challenge other retailers with a high standard to live up to.

That’s possibly one of the reasons why Target is offering free shipping with no minimums through December 23. Yes, you only get an option for “Standard Shipping,” which takes three to five business days. But, if you’ll be smart and plan ahead, this deal will save you more than you’d think!

3. Walmart

Walmart, Amazon’s largest competitor, offers free two-day shipping on orders over $35 all year round. But as the 2017 holiday shopping season started kicking in, the deal was improved to help us save even more. They basically increased the numbers of items that qualify for free shipping, including “some of the hottest products of the season,” states a Nov. 1 press release.

4. Best Buy

One of our favorite electronic retailers, Best Buy has been offering free shipping on everything since October 29 and it won’t stop ‘till Christmas Day. To help you plan ahead, Best Buy provides a very convenient chart that shows you on which days you need to place your order, so you would receive it before each of the major December holidays.

Just like Target and Amazon, it won’t deliver your order in just two days, but with this handy planner, you’ll definitely get it on time!

5. Sears

It’s easy to get free two-day shipping from Sears. You can always use their free 90-day trial of its Shop Your Way Max program. No credit cards, no obligations!

This season, Sears is aggressively attacking holiday season with even more opportunities to save. It has already started discounting merchandise for its “Holiday Blowout” sale, and now, you can score free shipping on orders over $49 at both its Sears and Kmart websites. This offer is valid for standard shipping only, so don’t procrastinate!

6. J.C. Penney

Even though J.C. Penney is more interested in driving traffic to its stores directly, they still offer some deals for those who plan to shop online. For orders over $99, you can get free standard (3-5 business days) shipping from Nov. 25 to Nov. 29. It may seem a bit over-the-top, especially compared to the ones listed above, but in honor of Cyber Monday, J.C. Penny will extend this offer to all orders over $25!
