10. Get a Driver’s License in Your Name

Obtaining a fraudulent driver’s license can open multiple doors for the identity theft criminal. It’s globally accepted as proof of who you are, where you live and how old you are. Having this piece of I.D will allow the criminal to ‘prove’ that they are you, to authorities, hospitals, and the like. To get a license, you’d have to take a written and driving test and undergo an eye exam. Though the license will state your name, the photo will tell another story all together. And the hacker might be able to get a license without you even realizing. The first warning signs could be traffic or parking tickets that you’ve acquired from other states, despite not being in them at the time. Unpaid traffic violations could lead to warrants for your arrest and even prison, before you can explain your way out of it.
