3. Best-Buy Trade-In Program

Another program that you can use to trade in electronics is the Best-Buy Trade-in Program. It’s got the largest list of gadgets and electrics on this list. Trade-Ins include:
- Cell Phones
- Cameras and Camcorders
- Computers
- Gaming Hardware
- MP3 Players
- Tablets and E-Readers
- TV and Home Theatre
- Video Games
It’s a pretty large list of electronics, but Best-Buy is a little more specific about how you ship your goods. You must use UPS, package the item to the correct guidelines, and insure it. They will pay for the cost, but it’s a little more effort than Gazelle or Amazon. After sending your package, your Best-Buy gift card will be emailed to you. This is a good idea if you are a return customer at Best-Buy, or are looking to make a big purchase.
4. Target Trade-In Program

Target’s Trade-In Program is very similar to Best-Buy, with the exception of using a postal carrier of your choice. This might make things easier if you don’t have a UPS depot near to you. On Target’s list of Trade-In items are the following:

- Wearables
- Gift Cards
As for the gift cards, Target will allow you to trade in unused gift cards in exchange for Target ones of the same amount. It’s time to check all of your draws, wallets, and bags for any gift cards you’ve never used.
5. Walmart Trade-In Program

Walmart now has their own Trade-In Program, too. And, in exchange for your items, you will receive a Walmart Gift Card. The items you can trade-in at Walmart are:

For now, Walmart’s Trade-In category isn’t as vast as some of the others, but the value you’ll get in return is quite good. You are limited to using Fed-Ex Ground Shipping to send your items, though. All of these trade-in programs are ideal for putting a little extra cash in your pocket. It’s just up to you, to decide which one to use.
